First, you’ll need to gather the following required ingredients.
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp thyme
- 1 tbsp rosemary
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 2 tbsp oregano
- 2 tbsp paprika
- salt & pepper to taste
You will add these ingredients when it’s time to use the casserole dish.
- 10 oz spaghetti noodles
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 yellow pepper, chopped
- 10 fl oz red wine
- 20 oz tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 8 oz shredded mozzarella
Now, preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Mix the ground beef with the thyme, rosemary, chili powder, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Create four equal parts of both your uncooked spaghetti and ground beef mixture. Wrap the first batch of ground beef around your noodles. Allow the noodles to be exposed at either side of your meatball-wrapped spaghetti. Repeat this process until you’ve used up all of your dried spaghetti and ground beef.
Now it’s time to cook that meat. Heat up a casserole dish and put the olive oil into it. Place your wrapped spaghetti into the pot and cook the meat. Flip it over after a minute or so. Add the chopped and diced vegetables. Let these cook.
Pour in the red wine and let everything reduce. When that’s ready, pour your tomato sauce into the mix and cover everything with cheese.
Slip the casserole dish into the oven and let it cook for thirty minutes. After that, let it cool and serve this amazingly tasty dish.
This cheese-baked spaghetti wrapped In meatballs makes a wonderful dish for the entire family. You can increase the vegetables you use if you’re looking to have more of them in your diet. Adding zucchini is a great and easy way to get more nutrients into your meal.
